QUETTA: President Mamnoon Hussain said that the government was determined to develop Balochistan and was building over 100 small dams for resolving water issues in the province. These views were expressed by President Mamnoon Hussain with parliamentarians during meeting at Governor House on Tuesday.
He said that the government allocated special funds for Universities of province and adding that 50 children of Balochistan were provided scholarships to learn Chinese language and NUML University Campus are being constructed in Gwadar.
The meeting was attended by Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Speaker Balochistan Assambly Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, provincial Minsiters, Dr,Hamid Khan Achakzai, Abdul Raheem Zairatwal, Sarfraz Bugti, Dur Muhammad Nasir, Muhammad Khan Lehri, MPAs, Nasrullah Zaray, Abdul Karim Nushairwani, Yasmeen Lehri, Arifa Siddiq and other officials.
President said the construction of Dera Ghazi Khan Road to Zhob Road was included in project of China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Highways would be divided into four line in view of future need, adding that National Highway Authority completed construction of 100 km road on emergency basis which would links rural areas of Balochistan with country.
