Gwadar: Members of Gwadar Youth Forum (GYF) held a protest demonstration against Quetta Electricity Supply Corporation (QESCO) at Shuhada-e-Jiwani chowk Gwadar, on Friday.
GYF activists protested against recruitment of outsiders on five vacancies of QESCO in Gwadar. Protesters rejected the recruitment in the shape of transfers from other districts and demanded the cancellation of the transfers.
President of GYP Barkat Baloch and General Secretary Feroz Baloch spoke on the occasion.
GYP President severely criticized the Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Gwadar, Mir Hammal Kalmati. “MPA of Gwadar said few weeks before that no compromise will be made on rights of Gwadar and now he is resting in Muscat, while people of Gwadar are being deprived of their rights,” lamented Barkat Baloch.
GYF claimed that it’s the voice of the youth of Gwadar and asked youth to join its ranks and make it more powerful.
GFY protestors warned Deputy Commissioner of Gwadar, XEN and SDO of QESCO in Gwadar that if the unfair transfer postings are not cancelled within three days then GYF will intensify its protests.
In Present day Balochistan protests have become a norm because that’s the only way to get one’s rights.
