Quetta: Pakistan Red Crescent Balochistan Branch and PDMA made airdrop of food and non-food items to besieged areas of district Kalat and Mastung by recent snowfall.
Secretary PRC Balochistan Branch Dr. Imran Khan highly appreciated the sincere efforts and personal interest of Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti for helping the people who are blocked by the recent snowfall and rains.
The Minister was physically there to conduct the relief operation and monitoring all the process himself is really commendable. Dr. Imran Khan also thanked the aviation who provided the logistic support that made this distribution possible.
He further said that airdrop is a simple solution to getting aid to areas where vehicle convoys can’t go. Dr. Imran himself conducted all the operation watching as they fall to the ground and hoping they reach those desperate for help.
