KARACHI: A software exhibition was organized by Baloch-Tech at Sindh Boys Scout Karachi on 7th October.The main purpose of this exhibition was to uncover the hidden talents of emerging youth in the field of Information Technology (IT).
The participating students were from different universities including; University of Turbat, University of Lasbela and IBA University. The exhibition hall was crowded with people from different walks of life.
Ana Baloch and famous poet of Balochi language Ishaq Khamosh were the stage sectaries. Many youngsters presented their own innovated software in the exhibition. An application named Karwan was also launched in the exhibition. This specific application will help people to get tickets when they want to visit any area of Balochistan.
District Chairman of Gwadar, teachers from Turbat University and teachers from Lyari appreciated the efforts of Baloch tech team.
Riaz Baloch from Turbat University said, “We have seen other nations focusing on this important field, now it’s time for us to step in and work through the world of information technology.”
After the comments session, there was a question and answer session in which different questions related to information technology were asked from students. They were given shirts of Baloch tech as gifts.
With the end of the formal proceedings of the event, all youngsters got an opportunity to present their projects one by one at the stalls.
The event in nature being one of the very first in Baloch society, was totally informative and an initiation of a prolonged process of emerging tech innovation among Baloch youth.
