Balochistan has 2250 Development Schemes: Govt of Balochistan

Quetta: Balochistan has 2250 development schemes including 1310 new ones and 940 ongoing schemes which would put Balochistan on track of development, stated Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, the spokesman for the Balochistan government in a press conference here on Wednesday.

Addressing a press conference spokesman for the Balochistan government who along with Additional Chief Secretary (Planning and Development), Nasibullah Khan Bazai said, “ PC-1 of 926 development schemes have   been completed and work on 2250 uplift schemes including 1310 new and 940 ongoing schemes is underway.”

“Balochistan cabinet meeting was held which reviewed law and order, development schemes and other important matters.” They said .

They said that sufficient funds had been allocated to carryout development works in the province.

“Quetta city needed 36 million gallons of water while the availability was 27 million.” They said

They informed that four dams including Mangi dams would be constructed which would help cater need of the water.”
