Expanding Economic Opportunities In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Mardan – AGAHI, a not for profit organization initiated a project ‘Expanding Economic Opportunities’ strengthening local communities capacity to acquire skill sets that enables them to contribute towards their socio-economic well being.

AGAHI, in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce convened a training workshop in Mardan Press Club on 6th June to raise awareness and increase access to financial and economic development opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The program’s aim was to focus on a three-pronged strategy in order to create better understanding of economic opportunities for the people in Khyber Pakhtunkwa. In an effort to increase awareness, AGAHI will engage the industry practitioners to train general public on expanding economic opportunity in the pretext of micro-credit finance.

Founder and President AGAHI, Puruesh Chaudhary said that the purpose of this project is to establish an approach that serves as a value proposition for different stakeholders of any given community

Haji Shafi, President Mardan Press Club while addressing the participants expressed that ‘Despite regional and local challenges faced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he reiterated that the will, hard work and entrepreneurial skills of the general public are important assets that can be used to overcome hardships but this requires everyone’s engagement; including the government, private sector and civil society.
