KASBIT launched Muttalla Must

Karachi:  The important event of KASBIT – Book Readers Club was held at KASBIT on Thursday.   The ceremony was presided by Prof. Muhammad Rais Alvi Director of the institute.

The KBRC is established under the initiative of “Muttalla Must” taken by KASBIT teachers and students to immaculate and exchange the habit of book reading among the students and citizens of Pakistan.

The first reader of the club was Mr. Irfan Siddiqui who presented his book “Japan Nama” to audience. He explained that his book is written to convey a message to our Pakistani brothers that they also can work hard honestly and can produce the amazing results as Japanese have done.

Prof. Muhammad Rais Alvi said the reading of books is important for the mind as food for body.  He said through this we can make our society more innovative, sophisticated and tolerant.

Prof. Syed Karamatullah Hussainy and Prof. Aftab Ahmed Abro give a detailed picture of the club structure, its aims and objectives and its benefits.

Those who spoke in the occasions included Mr. Ghulam Mustafa Abro, Mr. Hanif Dilmurad, Mr. Ahmedullah Khan, Prof. Syed Karamatullah Hussainy and Prof. Aftab Ahmed.

The management of the club included Prof. Abro as President, Mr. Israr Ahmed as Vice President, Mr. Balach Gul Khan as Coordinator and Ms. Iqra Munsif as Secretary. Club management will work out, schedule and announce the upcoming events and meetings.
