Letter: Stop Cheating In Sindh And Balochistan

Undoubtedly, merit is the foundation upon which countries develop. However in Pakistan no department is found without corruption. Education is fundamental right of every citizen but the institutions that are supposed to impart education are infested with corruption. Cheating during examinations is rampant in Sindh and Balochistan. Who is responsible for this?

Cheating in exams destroys the future of the students and no one realizes this point. Recently matriculation exams have ended in Sindh and cheating was not controlled in any way. Parents and even teachers were involved in helping their students to cheat in the exams. The standard of education in Sindh has deteriorated over the years due to the cancer of cheating.

I strongly condemn cheating culture in both Balochistan and Sindh provinces. As long as, copy culture is not eradicated, a robust society will not be established. Therefore, I urge Education Minister Sindh, Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khuro and Education Advisor of Balochistan, Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech to please take stern notice of this core issue.
