In last few months street crimes in Turbat have surged up. Snatching and looting on gunpoint has become a common occurrence. Since beginning of month of August, 4 people have been killed in incidents of Street Crimes. Main reason for sudden increase in Street Crimes is lack of sufficient Police patrols in the city.
It’s regretful to know that in majority of cases the victims of Street crimes are Vegetable and fruit vendors. This critical issue has escaped media attention as well and therefore most of people outside of Turbat are not aware of it. Therefore it’s requested from the government authorities to take strict measures to reduce street crimes in Turbat city.
