Quetta: Secretary Health Noor-ul-Haq Baloch handed over advanced cheque of Rs. 1 million for treatment of hemangioma patient on Wednesday.
According to the details Secretary Health Balochistan Noor-ul-Haq Baloch handed over a cheque of Rs. 1 million to the parents of 17 years old Bibi Rubina and referred her to the Agha Khan Hospital Karachi for proper treatment.
Bibi Rubina is daughter of a vaccinator from health department in district Pishin, who has been suffering from a skin disease known as hemangioma.
Noor Baloch took interest in treatment of Bibi Rubina when news was recently reported about her disease and inability of her parents for her treatment on a private TV channel.
Parents of Bibi thanked Noor Baloch for financial assistance and journalists for reporting it in the media.
A hemangioma of the skin is an abnormal buildup of blood vessels on or under the surface of the skin. It creates problems with functions such as sight, eating, hearing, defecation, ulceration or pain.
Hemangiomas are treated in different ways, each of which carries its own risks.
