5 killed in Hazara town suicide blast

QUETTA: A powerful suicide blast killed 5 and injured scores of people in Ali Abad area of Hazara town on Saturday evening.

According to police sources, Suicide bomber targeted a crowded shopping area of Hazara town where people were busy in shopping for Eid.

The injured were transported to BMC hospital and CMH.

The head of the suicide bomber was discovered from the site of the blast, according to Superintendent Police (SP).

The sound of the suicide blast was heard in faraway places of the Quetta city.

Hazara Town is populated by Shia Hazara Ethnic community and they have been target of many terrorism activities in the past.
