Sufi Shrine bombed in Mastung

Quetta: Militants blew up the shrine of Shiekh Taqi Baba in Mastung district on Tuesday. A woman was wounded in the bomb blast, according to Mastung Police.

The targeted shrine is located in center of Mastung. Miscreants had installed explosives inside the shrine according to Nazeer Ahmad, Mastung police official.

Police and other security forces have cordoned off the area and investigation into the matter has begun. The wounded woman has been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

No organization has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

However it is believed that religious fundamentalists, who consider Sufi shrines source of polytheism, are behind this bomb blast.
