Chief Minister Approves funding for Water Treatment Plant in Quetta

Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has approved issuance of funds for early restoration of 13 cusec capacity of water treatment plant at Sabzal Road and provision of required funds for installation of water treatment plant at Samungli Road.

He directed for immediate restoration of treatment plant at Sabzal Road and timely implementation of installation of Samungli water treatment plant project.

Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri was chairing a meeting on various important development projects and other related issues of Quetta city, here on Wednesday.

Chief Secretary Balochistan Saifullah Chattah and other concerned officials were also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister directed that all available resources should be utilized for the projects concerning to the beautification of Quetta city, adding that through installation of water treatment plants clean water would be available for agricultural purposes and masses would get healthy vegetables and other agri- commodities. “It would also help increase plantation and greenery in the city,” he said.

Chief Secretary Balochistan Saifullah Chattah briefed the meeting about restoration of treatment plant at Sabzal Road and installation of treatment plant at Samunagli Road and in University of Balochistan.

Chief Minister approved issuance of required funds for treatment plants at Sabzal Road and Samungali Road while he directed for incorporation of installation of treatment plant project at University of Balochistan in upcoming PSDP.

Chief Minister addressing the meeting said that nations produce leaders and leaders build country, adding that God has given us an opportunity to serve the masses and we should not overlook this opportunity. “We should serve the masses as much as we can so that they could always remember us with good words,” he remarked.

Chief Minister said that utilizing sewerage water after recycling would help increase greenery in the city, control pollution and clean water for growing vegetable and other agri-commodities.
