Among the Major Issues, Traffic is the Biggest Problem of Quetta: Dr. Kaleemullah Kakar

Quetta: Dr. Kaleemullah Kakar, Mayor of Quetta, on Saturday said, “Among the major issues of Quetta, traffic is the biggest problem and we simply do not have the budget to cope with the situation.”

Addressing at a seminar conducted with the title of “A Road Safety” by Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Civil Society Balochistan and Online Quetta group of volunteers at Quetta Press Club, Dr Kaleemullah said that they had   presented a proposal to the Prime Minister of Pakistan to turn Quetta into a model city.  If we had the recourses and the authority Quetta would be a much better place. SSP traffic police Hamid Shakeel conditioned the betterment of traffic in Quetta on the cooperation of public. Hamid Shakeel said that a project announced by Chief Minister Punjab would soon be launched which would be helpful in improving the traffic problem.

Vice Chairman, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Balochistan Tahir Hussain Advocate urged citizens of Queta to cooperate with traffic police to solve traffic issues. Convener of Civil Society Balochistan, Sami Zarkon, founder of Quetta Online Mr.Zia also offered their services. The founder of Quetta Online highlighted absence of Policy for people with disabilities.
