Around 15 districts of Balochistan plunged into darkness overnight

QUETTA: Around 15 districts of Balochistan plunged into darkness overnight when a technical fault hit the Guddu-Sibi electric transmission line on mid-Saturday night.

According to the details, 15 districts of Balochistan suffered a total blackout when the technical fault caused the trip on Guddu-Sibbi transmission line. The power breakdown brought thorny problems for the people on Sehri timings during the holy month of Ramadan.

The affected districts included Quetta, Pishin, Bolan, Killa Saifullah, Killa Abdullah, Mastung, Nushki, Chaghi and others.

However, the supply of electricity was restored in the morning.
