Balochistan And FATA Are Victims Of Terrorism: Dr. Malik

Quetta: Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said that entire country particularly FATA and Balochistan are the victims of terrorism.

“We are grateful to Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif and Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Nasir Khan Janjua for relaxing recruitment requirements in Pak- Army for youth of Balochistan,” he expressed these views while addressing to a passing out parade of 580 youth of Baloch regiment.

Lauding the new recruits for their successful training, Chief Minister said today is an historical day and hoped that new recruits in the Army would strictly follow the splendid traditions of Balochistan by preparing themselves to counter all internal and external threats and ensure security of the country. “New recruits would play their great role for the protection of the country and its people wherever their services were required,” he added.

Chief Minister owing to joint efforts of political and military leadership, Law and order situation in Balochistan has improved, adding that entire country specially FATA and Balochistan were affected due to terrorism. “Internal and external elements are also involved in this regard”, he added.

On the occasion, Chief Minister awarded Chief Minister Balochistan Award to Muhammad Yaqoob of Baloch Regiment, hailing from Musakhel area of the province, for his extra- ordinary performance.
