Chagai: 15 Children Died of Thalassemia‏ in Last 3 Years

Chagai – 15 Children have lost their lives due to Thalassemia, during last three years, in district Chagai, learnt Balochistan Point.

4 Year old, Muhammad Rasool was the 15th child who lost the battle of life due to Thalassemia.

4 year old Thalassemia patient died due to delay in timely supply of blood – Incharge of Bolan Blood Bank Dalbandin.

“Muhammad Rasool died due to delay in timely supply of blood,” Mr. Muhammad Baksh Baloch, incharge of Bolan Blood Bank Dalbandin, told Balochistan Point.

Thalassemia is a leading cause for death among young children in Chagai district.

District administration has failed to take concrete steps to provide blood to Thalassemia patients on timely basis.
