Chagai: Woman kidnapped from Punjab Recovered from Afghan Refugees Camp

Chagai – A women kidnapped form Punjab has been recovered by Levies force from Afghan Refugee’s camp of Gardi Jungle, on Sunday.

Assistant Commissioner (AC) Dalbandin Razzaq Sasoli raided Gardi Jungle refugee’s camp on a tip off.

“Name of the recovered women is Shahista Praveen and she belongs from Khanewal district of Punjab,” AC told journalists.

According to the account of the women, She was kidnapped form Rawalpindi and then taken to Peshawar where she was sold for 400,000 rupees. She claims that she was already married with 3 children but her purchaser forcefully married her again.

“Levies officials have arrested two bothers of her so-called husband and are in pursuit of the main accused,” said Razzaq Sasoli, AC Dalbandin.

Sources claim that women trafficking rackets have been known to operate through the networks of Afghan refugees Camps.
