Chaghai: Agriculture on the verge of collapse

Dalbandain: Thousands  of  acres of  cultivable land  remain barren  due to  non -availability of tube-wells,  as 500 electricity  connections lie  pending . Having outstanding water   table district Chaghii is famous for agriculture. Farmers are compelled to run tube -wells on diesel engines. Now when a barrel of diesel oil costs 32000 Pak rupees, it is impossible for agricultural related people to run their tube-wells. Most of tube -wells have been   Shutt- down. Farmers  have appealed  the government  and higher authorities  to promptly  provide  them   electricity connections  to continue  their productions .
