Quetta: Earthquake tremors struck Noshki and other parts of western Balochistan on Monday.
According to the reports of the local media, no causalities were reported as a result of the earthquake. People, from the areas that were struck by earthquake, vacated their homes in fear.
Certain parts Balochistan are located on red zone for seismic activity and are susceptible to earthquakes. In September last year, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake destroyed Awaran district of Balochistan resulting in death of up to 1000 people according to estimations.
