Quetta – 12 passengers lost their lives when a trailer crashed into four vehicles near Kalat, on Monday.
Trailer was carrying oil and travelling from Karachi to Quetta when it crashed into four vehicles near Mangochar town of Kalat district.
According to sources, 15 passengers were wounded in the deadly road accident and they were rushed to District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) Kalat. As per hospital sources, condition of 5 wounded passengers is critical and therefore number of casualties is expected to rise.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr. Malik Baloch, has instructed Commissioner Kalat Division, Dr. Akbar Harifal, to provide best possible medical care to all the wounded passengers.
RCD highway, connecting Quetta to Karachi, is often home to deadly accidents due to poor quality of roads and lack of road management by National Highways and Motorways Police.
