New Chairman of Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) Justice (R) Mehta Kailash Nath Kohli is playing a crucial role in reforming the whole system that was tarnished and stigmatized by the corrupt ex-Chairman. New chairman is a ray of hope for the aspirants who had been badly disheartened during ex-Chairman’s tenure. The mounting reformative and merit based policies of new chairman are worthy of exceptional admirations.
However, I would like to draw the attention of BPSC’s new Chairman regarding the very problem of BPSC’s official website. Whenever the commission announces any posts or publishes any notification or result, website is the easiest and accessible source of getting information. The remote areas of Balochistan which are far away from Quetta get to know about BPSC announcements, through newspapers, after 2 to 3 days. In such circumstances, candidates cannot keep themselves abreast of up-to-date information and sometimes miss Viva Voces that are conducted on short notice.
Official website of BPSC has been causing inconvenience during browsing for the candidates and unable to provide timely information. It is due to lack of effective web designing or due to a server error. The data saved on website is inaccessible from smart phones and other gadgets. On computers it is also showing somewhat technical error. The blogs present at website are not hyperlinked and hyperlinked ones also not direct the users to the intended page.
So, it is requested to Justice (R) Mehta Kailash Nath Kohli to please look into the matter and direct the concerned staff to redesign the official website and make it easy, convenient and accessible for candidates. This would help the candidates to access all advertisements and notifications on time.
