It is really surprising that there is only one board office in entire Balochistan. Other provinces have numerous educational boards for the convenience of students in different regions of those provinces.
Makran division which comprises of Kech, Gwadar and Panjgur districts is located farthest away from Quetta. Students of Makran division need to travel 850 km away to Quetta for a small work related to educational matters. Students have to bear huge amount of expenses while travelling to Quetta in form of their transportation expenses, hotel stay and dining expenses. Poor people can’t afford it and therefore they don’t come to Quetta even if they have an urgent piece of work.
Government must realize this grave problem faced by students in Makran division. It needs to establish and make functional a separate board in Makran to reduce the woes of students of Makran.
