University of Turbat (UOT) is playing a vital role in educating Baloch of Makran belt. It won’t be our erroneous belief if we say that UOT is a change of agent. The role of administration and teachers can’t be denied in transforming sub-campus of University of Balochistan into a separate university.
The greatest thing about university is that right from its inception there is no concept of cheating. That’s why it has become a high standard university for the people of Makran. In addition it has become easy for the students to get high quality education at their door steps.
Moreover, if we talk about the staff, they are highly qualified and they teach brilliantly and as a result the students can get high quality learning. Recently Masters Classes have been started at UOT and it would allow many people of Makran to attain Masters Degree. Prior to UOT, poor people of Makran division had to cut there education short at graduation level as they could not afford to travel to Quetta or Karachi to study masters
In the end, I plea Government of Balochistan to provide more funds to this University. So, that the Baloch also should come a head and compete with the world. This will only be possible by opening the avenues of education for them. We have the talent but we need a chance to prove that we are not less than others. So, it’s my humble request from the government to pay more attention toward UOT for the sake of better future of our youth.
