ISLAMABAD: National University of Modern Languages (NUML) and Digital Broadcast Television (DBTV) have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote mobile journalism and provide trainings in field of media.
On the occasion, Head of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dr. Khalid Sultan termed the MoU as a new chapter of cooperation between the two sides and said that it would be helpful to provide opportunities to the students to explore new ways in media industry. He hoped that student will take benefit from Mobile Journalism to serve the humanity and society.
In her remarks, General Manager DB TV, Bakhtawar Mehmood said that the aim of the training is to equip students with modern techniques to truly demonstrate their creative work. She said that DBTV would extend all sort of cooperation to NUML University and the students of media.
On the occasion, Director News DBTV, Tahir Dhindsa termed the MoU as a new chapter of cooperation between NUML and DBTV and said that Mobile Journalism will empower the citizens through information.
Director ORIC, Professor Kiramat Ali said that new trends in media industry can play a great role to reduce gap between different sectors of society.
