QUETTA: The group of forces with officials that went for the recovery of two senior government officials has also been abducted today.
According to the initial reports a team of officials that went for the recovery of two governments administrators, who were kidnapped a day earlier by unknown gunmen from Tump town in Balochistan’s Kech district, were also abducted today.
Assistant Commissioner Dasht Naeem Ghichki was heading a recovery team comprised of two Tehsildars and three Levies’ personnel. They were kidnapped by unidentified gunmen from Gomazai who then took them to a nearby mountain.
Prior to this on Thursday, the Deputy Commissioner Kech Abdul Hameed Abro was visiting Pakistan’s border area with Iran for a meeting with Iranian border officials last night. He was kidnapped by unknown armed men along with Assistant Commissioner Tump and Levies officials in Ajian area, when he was returning back from the border meeting.
The banned Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for the first incident of kidnapping.
