Quetta: Competitive examines would be conducted in accordance with its schedule which has already been announced, said a press release issued by the provincial government, here on Saturday.
According to statement, the BPSC examinations would be held on schedule and strongly rejected the reports that the examinations are being postponed or delay.
“There is not truth in rumors that competitive examinations of PCS have been cancelled,” it said and added that the competitive examines would be conducted in accordance with its schedule already has been announced. He said
The statement further said that the Provincial Government would uphold its policy to promote merit only providing jobs only to the most competent and qualified young people. The Government would also defend the inalienable rights of the promising young people ensuring justice and fair play, the official announcement concluded.

Earlier, the examinations were postponed on the plea that a fewer candidates had gone to Makkah to perform Hajj. Observers had welcomed the Government decisions to hold the examinations on schedule by rejecting all pressure by a powerful anti-people lobby.
Some of the former Ministers were convicted and remained in jail for selling jobs or misusing their official powers. Thus the BPSC prestige is at stake and it should ensure transparency in examinations and recruitment that only genuine and qualified candidates are selected rejecting all pressure from the vested interests at all level.
