People of Gwadar and Wadh are punished for voting BNP

Quetta: Blocking development funds of Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal and Hammal Kalmati is not only condemnable but it also reflects the narrow minded policies of Balochistan government, Said BNP spokesman.

In a press statement, BNP has condemned allocation of development funds for selected areas of Balochistan from where the leadership of ruling parties belong  and ignoring other areas.

The BNP statement further said that people of Wadh and Gwadar are being punished for voting BNP. The mandate of people of Quetta, Chaghi and Noshki was stolen in last elections and now these areas are also being deprived of development funds.

BNP has termed the chauvinistic policies of the incumbent Balochistan government as Anti-Baloch.

BNP also condemned the extra-judicial raids on the house of relatives of Dr. Jehanzneb Jamaldini who is deputy chief organizer of BNP.

It must be noted that the development funds of two Members of Provincial assembly of BNP were abruptly blocked by provincial government. According to sources, the blockage is an example of political victimization of BNP who is the main opposition party in Baloch belt of Balochistan.
