Quetta: CM expresses serious resentment over poor situation of cleanliness and drainage

Quetta:  Expressing serious resentment over poor situation of cleanliness and drainage of Quetta city, Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has ordered Commissioner Quetta Division for taking prompt action in this connection.

Chief Minister Balochistan along with provincial ministers Mir Sarfiraz Bugti, Muhammad Khan Lehri and MPA Mir Asim Kurd Gilo paid a surprise visit to various parts of the Quetta city to witness the condition of city’s sanitation and drainage following heavy rain and snowfall, and to address the complaints of the masses.

He also visited business center where he intermingled with shoppers and children who delighted seeing Chief Minister among them. Chief Minister talked with people and heard their issues regarding city and assured them that the authorities concerned were bound to ensure basic facilities to the masses and improve sanitation situation. He directed that all departments should perform their duty with sincerity and no negligence would be tolerated in this connection. The children also made selfies with Chief Minister and enjoyed his company.

Later, Chief Minister summoned Commissioner Quetta and directed him to begin the cleanliness work and drainage of the city on emergent basis from tonight by summoning all concerned personnel along with machinery.

Directing Commissioner Quetta for producing report in the morning, Chief Minister regretted over the poor cleanliness situation of provincial capital and warned that no negligence would be tolerated,  and serious action would be taken against responsible found indolent.

Chief Minister said that he would himself monitor the cleanliness work of Quetta city which is the face of Balochistan all should play their role to bring back the lost beauty of the city. -End
