Dr. Yaseen Baloch, Secretary General of National Party (NP), died in a road accident near Uthal while travelling from Quetta to Winder on Thursday.
Dr. Yaseen Baloch, along with his companions, was on his way to attended Baloch Students Organization (BSO) session in Winder when his vehicle overturned near Uthal. Dr. Yaseen Baloch succumbed to the injuries and died on the spot of accident.
Dr. Yaseen Baloch was born on 1959 in Kallag village of District Kech. After receiving his early education from Turbat, Dr. Yaseen Baloch completed his MBBS from Bolan Medical College (BMC). He was active in student politics from his college days. He served as the Chairman of BSO in early 1980s.
Dr. Yaseen Baloch was elected Member of National Assembly from Makran division and served as Parliamentary Secretary for Federal Ministry of Health.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, NP President Senator Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo, Tahir Bizenjo and people from different segments of society attended Dr. Yaseen Baloch’s funeral on Friday.
NP and Kech Bar Association announced three days mourning period over the tragic death of Dr. Yaseen Baloch in road accident.
Chief Minister Balochistan and other Social and political activists paid rich tributes to Dr. Yaseen Baloch and appreciated his political services.
NP members said that sudden death of Dr. Yaseen Baloch is a big loss for Democratic struggle of province. “Dr. Yaseen Baloch devoted his life for Democratic struggle of Balochistan and He will remain alive in our hearts forever,” said NP members.
