Secretary Health visits Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Diseases Hospital Quetta

Quetta: Secretary Health Noor-Ul-Haq Baloch visited the pace of overall developmental work progress, specifically Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Diseases hospital Quetta, on Friday.

Noor-Ul-Haq Baloch said that revamping of the hospital was in its final stage.

“Total functionalization of the departments of the hospital will be another milestone to the envisioned approach of the current coalition government in provision of best health facilities to the needy patients.” He added.

MS Hospital Dr.Taj Rasini, Associate Professor and Coordinator of Pakistan Chest Society Dr.Shereen Khan were present on the occasion.

In this moment Pakistan chest society (PCS) coordinator Prof. Dr Shereen Khan donated computerized ICU beds, computerized stretchers, special mattresses and special patient facilitation trollies to the secretary health for the Special Care Unit and ICU of Fatima Jinnah chest hospital Quetta.

Secretary health appreciated the efforts of Prof. Shreen khan and he also eluded the optimistic and pragmatic efforts of Pakistan Chest Society for providing such innovative and sophisticated equipment’s; he hoped that these equipment’s would be very useful in provision of best health care facilities to the masses in the near future.

He said “we have planned to declare this particular hospital to teaching hospital and also the making of an act is in pipeline, by these pragmatic efforts general public will get advanced chest and general treatment facilities.”
