Surab: At least three personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) were killed and six others injured in a remote controlled bomb attack at their convoy near Surab area of Balochistan on Saturday.
According to the initial reports the convoy was attacked by a remote controlled bomb as it was on a regular patrol duty at Surab area of district Kalat, some 180 kilometers away from capital city Quetta.
Intense firing followed the bomb attack. Three FC men were killed and six other personnel were injured in the incident.
According to a spokesperson of Frontier Corps, the security forces returned fire at the attackers. Two of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
