Two dead bodies found dumped in outskirts of Quetta

QUETTA: Two bullet- riddled dead bodies dumped near Rind Gahr area, in the outskirts of Provincial Capital Quetta on Wednesday, said police.

Unknown armed men shot dead two persons and throw away their bodies in a desolated area in Eastern Bypass area near Rind Gahr before fleeing the area.

Local people spotted the bodies and informed the police that rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to Civil Hospital Quetta for medico-legal formalities, police said.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Sariab Imran Qureshi said that the bodies appeared to be between 30 to 40 years old and the deceased were shot multiple bullets in head and chest.

He said that the identity of bodies is yet to be established as their faces were disfigured, adding that investigations were underway to arrest accused behind the incident.

Later the bodies were shifted to hospital morgue.

Recovery of bullet-riddles bodies from different parts of Balochistan has becoming a routine matter as more than 15 dead bodies were recovered from mass graves in Tutak area of Khuzdar district last month.

Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) a local organization striving for safe recovery of missing persons of Balochistan claims more than 700 dead bodies of missing persons have been recovered from different parts of Balochistan since July 2010.
