ZHOB: Senior teacher Din Gul remembered in a condolence reference

ZHOB: Senior educationists, teachers and close friends eulogized the educational services and contributions of senior teacher Din Gul to the field of education in a condolence reference in his memory held at Shaheed Iqbal School – decorated with Iqbal verses here on Wednesday.

The gathering was arranged to acknowledge the educational services of the noted teacher Din Gul, who served over four decades and passed away in September 2018. The condolence reference was attended by a large number of people who remained associated with him, senior teachers, colleagues, notables, political activists and people from all walks of life.

Allama Iqbal was his ideal and he was honored with the President’s Award for pride of performance for his services to the education.

Addressing the participants Ex-chairman Municipal Committee Abdul Saleem Mandokhail, Education Officer Sheikh Haji Musa Khan Mandokhail, Senior teachers Ishaq Panezai, Abdul Rehman Musakhail, Rasheed Sial Kakar, Molvi Niamatullah Mandokhail, Wali Khan Mandokhail, Quttab Khan, Ch Afzal, Hafiz Mehboob Shah and Hifz-ur-Rehman paid rich tributes to Din Gul and shed light on all the aspects of his personality and life.

   Speaking on the occasion, they said that Din Gul was not an ordinary individual but an institution, who dedicated his entire life to the teaching. He was attached to the education field for 42 years. They maintained.

They said that he was a committed teacher and a compassionate man of positive social values. He lived resolutely and worked dedicatedly, generously for the promotion of education in Zhob. Some of his students out of thousands are today on high government positions at the country level.

“Din Gul played a very significant role in the initiative of inter-district education competitions. The best way to pay tribute to late Din Gul is to pursue his mission. He would be remembered for long,” they remarked.

Meanwhile, principal FG high school demanded of the government that Gul’s educational ideas should be included to the curriculum; moreover, he said a city road should also be named after him.

Hashim Khan, the son of Din Gul thanked profusely all the participants for their precious time and participation in the condolence reference.
