Deputy Secretary of CM Secretariat Kidnapped

Quetta: Deputy Secretary of Chief Minister Secretariat, Ghulam Shah Dashti, was kidnapped in Kech District on Monday.

Kech administration has confirmed the kidnapping incident and said that Mr. Dashti was kidnapped on gunpoint from Dasht Khudan area of Kech district.

Kech is one of the most turbulent provinces of Balochistan and deputy commissioner of the district was kidnapped earlier this tear and later on released.

Kech is the home town of CM Balochistan Dr. Malik and religious extremism has intensified in the district in recent months.
