Passengers Of Balochistan Facing Problems In Karachi

Karachi – Passengers of Balochistan travelling to Karachi are facing hurdles on daily basis, learnt The Balochistan Point.

Karachi transport stands have recently been shifted out of city in Yousaf Goth. Since then growing number of passengers from Balochistan complaint about discrimination at the hands of Sindh Police.

A passenger Irfan Ubaid told The Balochistan Point that He was stopped by Sindh Police when he was travelling in a Taxi from Bus stand to Karachi city. He said that “Sindh Police humiliated us and only let us go once we paid them some bribe.”

“I faced the humiliation at the hands of Sindh Police when I was travelling to Karachi city along with my family,” Nodbandag Khan told The Balochistan point

It has been reported that Karachi Police has deprived relatives of patients from the money which they were bringing to Karachi for treatment of patients. Shoaib Ahmad narrated one such incident to The Balochistan Point where Police man allegedly snatched Rs. 50,000 from a person belonging from Panjgur who was brining his ill mother for treatment to Karachi.

Affected Passengers of Balochistan, through the platform of The Balochistan Point demand from Chief Minister Balochistan to bring this issue to notice of Chief Minister Sindh and ensure that Sindh Police doesn’t treat passengers of Balochistan in an ill-mannered way.
