Quetta: No First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against perpetrators in Saqiba’s suicide case after passage of four days.
Saqiba Hakeem, a teenage girl student of Government Girls Degree College, Muslim Bagh ,Killa Saifullah district who committed suicide on Friday after the college principal refused to send her examination form to the intermediate education board.
According to the details no action has been taken by police against the perpetrators who forced Saqiba Hakeem to commit suicide. No First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against college principal.
The family members and class fellows of Saqiba Hakeem have rejected the formed committee and they demand a judicial commission for the inquiry.
The family members claim, “Saqiba committed suicide on last Friday by taking poisonous medicine, on last day of exams form submission as she was denied enrollment for asking to appoint a female teachers for the female students.”
Though, the chief minister of Balochistan Sardar Sanullah Zehri directed Commissioner Zhob to probe the incident, no measures have been taken against the responsible.
Three-member committee has been formed by Balochistan Education Minister Rahim Ziaratwal to investigate the “tragic incident”; however, the family members and class fellows of Saqiba Hakeem have rejected the formed committee and they demand a judicial commission for the inquiry.
