Candidates Decry New Verification Rules of BPSC

Quetta : Candidates appearing in recruitment tests of Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) have decried the new verification rules.

Justice (R) Mehta Kailash Nath Kohli after being appointed as Chairman of BPSC changed the verification rules and made it mandatory for candidates to verify all their official and academic certificates from the issuing bodies.

Previously, only those candidates were required to verify their documents that passed recruitment test and interviews conducted by BPSC.

According to the new policy all candidates are required to verify their educational documents from Matric to masters from the issuing authority. Candidates are also required to get their domicile certificates verified by appearing personally before the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of their home district.

Candidates complain that they have to spend upto Rs. 10,000 on the document verification process which under-privileged ones can’t even afford.

Due to implementation of the new verification rules of BPSC, aspiring candidates have to spend weeks and weeks in the process of getting all of their documents verified.

Candidates also criticized the new chairman of BPSC who has created more problem for them rather than solving, after taking charge.

Candidates have appealed to new Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and Governor Balochsitan Mohammad Khan Achakzai to take notice of the sufferings of candidates and instruct BPSC to change its rules.
