Candlelight Vigil against Closure of Schools in Panjgur

Quetta: BNP-Awami carried out a candlelight vigil against closure of schools in Panjgur. Private schools in Panjgur were closed after facing serious threats from an unknown extremist organization.

The participants of the vigil said that all girls and private school are closed in Panjgur of last two month. Government has failed to take any action to solve this grave crisis, lamented the protestors. According to them, thousands of Malalas are being deprived the right to receive education in Panjgur. The protestors requested Chief Justices of both Supreme Court of Pakistan and Balochistan High Court to take Sou-Moto notice of this travesty of Justice.

Educational activity in Panjgur is completely inactive since the time when unknown miscreants attacked transportation vehicle of a private institute. Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr. Malik Baloch, despite belonging from the neighboring District of Panjgur, has failed to take any meaningful action.
