Turbat – Supply of electricity remained suspended to Makran division during the Eid days. On first two days of Eid, people of Makran experienced long hours of load shedding, learnt the Balochistan Point.
On third day of Eid, electricity supply from Iran to entire Makran division was suspended due to a fault in main grid station of Mand. People of Makran suffered badly during the hot weather of this region in absence of electricity.
“There is no fixed schedule of load shedding in Makran, Some feeders experience 14 to 16 hours of load shedding in a day,” Nodabandag Khan, a resident of Turbat, told The Balochistan Point. “We have to bear scorching heat of over 40 degree Celsius in absence of electricity,” lamented Mr. Khan.
People of Makran have urged Chief Minister, Dr. Malik Baloch to take notice of unbearable load shedding in their region.
