Quetta – Principal of Ghazi Abdullah Khan Institute, Faizullah Achakzai and other members of civil society have demanded that National Testing Service (NTS) test for quality education institutes should be cancelled and retaken.
Mr. Faizullah Achakzai along with members of civil society said this while addressing a press conference on Saturday.
NTS recently conducted admission tests for 8 institutes of quality education including residential colleges and cadet colleges.
“NTS test was based on syllabus of 2009 instead of the current syllabus and therefore students were cheated,” lamented Mr. Achakzai.
“Civil Society demands that NTS tests for all the 8 institutes should be cancelled and new test should be taken according to current syllabus,” demanded Mr. Achakzai.
Similar complaints have been heard about entry test of Bolan Medical College (BMC) and recruitment test of Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS).
A candidate of recruitment test in BUITEMS told The Balochistan point that test conducted was not based on the declared pattern and therefore a lot of candidates failed the test.
A growing number of complaints are being received about the tests conducted by NTS but no clarification has been issued by NTS yet.
“There is no one to hold NTS accountable for irregularities and that’s why it’s is not bothered about it,” lamented the disgruntled candidate.
