HRCP Terms Khuzdar Mass Graves Judicial Commission Report, Unsatisfactory

Quetta: Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has termed the report of judicial commission on Khuzdar Mass Graves, unsatisfactory.

Fact finding commission of HRCP stated that aforementioned report has failed to indentify the culprits responsible for mass graves in Tootak Area of Khuzadr.

HRCP chairperson made this statement while addressing a press conference in Quetta Press Club on Sunday. She said that the report fails to pin the responsibility of mass graves and killing and dumping on anyone.

Only 3 out of 17 dead bodies, recovered from mass grave, have been identified, said Miss Yousaf. She complained that fact finding team of HRCP was not allowed to visit the site of mass graves.

HRCP chairperson criticized Balochistan government for failing to track down the culprits behind killing and dumping of up to 40 dead bodies.

Enforced disappearances are illegal and gross violation of human rights, internal human rights laws and Pakistan law, said HRCP chief.

Yesterday, in a press conference HRCP had expressed serious concerns over Human rights violations in Balochistan.
