Killa Saifullah: Massive Irregularities In NTS Test

Quetta – Recruitment test for vacancies in education department in Killa Saifullah District was marred with massive irregularities, on Sunday.

Balochistan government had announced to hold recruitment test for 4,359 vacancies in education department through National Testing Service (NTS), in order to ensure transparency.

NTS test for Killa Saifullah took place on Sunday where massive irregularities during the test were reported from the sources privy to the matters.

Male and female candidates were allowed to use cell phones during the test which was a clear violation of the test rules. According to sources, candidates used internet through their cell phones to solve the answers of questions in the test.

Identity documents of candidates were not checked during the test and it’s feared that dozens of proxy candidates had appeared in the test.

Civil society in Killa Saifullah has demanded to cancel the test and retake in under robust invigilation mechanism.

“What transpired in Killa Saifullah during NTS test is yet another slap on the face of claims of good governance of Balochistan government in education sector,” said Kaleemullah a NTS test applicant.

NTS test of education department vacancies have been controversial from the outset due to an unprecedented fee of Rs. 1000 per application. Despite receiving high fee from the candidates, facilities provided during test have reported to be appalling.
