Letter: Irregularities in Teacher Recruitments in Zhob

A letter titled “Irregularities in Teachers Appointments” asked the Provincial Secretary Education to explain the anomaly in the appointments of teachers. Unfortunately, the letter fell on deaf ears.

The caustic remarks and apprehensions of the writer hold much water. There are two points that are disquieting;

(i) Some almightiest want to appoint their dear-ones and therefore intentionally delaying the appointment process so that the time of test expiry – which is six months according to the prescribed policy – expires and thereby they appoint their dear-ones;

(ii) another treacherous but technical point being played with those qualified for technical posts of JDM and PTI is that; if they do not get appointment letters by the end of January, they won’t be able to take admissions in the only Elementary College of Arts and Physical Education College, which is already bearing the burden of a mammoth number of students. And, they will easily be terminated for not ensuring the required diploma within a year.

If it is not true then why that much lax delay in appointments? – thirteen months! Political and bureaucratic elites are accountable to none is the only fait accompli in Balochistan.

Chief Justice of Pakistan!! Do you read this letter?
