Gwadar is a small town with the population of 200,000. It is located on the south of Makran division. Gwadar is a Balochi term which the door of air.
As government is saying “we are developing Gwadar and giving a new shape to the city.”
But I want to raise a question to government. Did you ask the Gwadar people what they want, need or demand?
This is your development where a tanker of water cost is Rs. 12000?
Government of Pakistan’s development in Gwadar is putting the indigenous life in jeopardy. As they are being deprived from their basic rights such as water, hospitals, educational institutes and many people are jobless.
Gwadar people who can afford they will visit Karachi for treatment and poor people will suffer due to lack of good facilities of health.
Due to lack of good educational facilities, students of Gwadar go to Turbat or Quetta for higher education.
State is interested on the port and route of Gwadar. But don’t have time to have a glance on hurdles of Gwadar people.
