Quetta: Member of Provincial Assembly Izhar Khan Khosa has said that it is a very good approach to engage parents in their children education. Teachers can really impact on the lives of many children, especially when they leave a good impression on them.
He said this to the convention of Parents Teacher Schools Management Committee organized by Alif Ailaan on Wednesday.
Member of Provincial Assembly Izhar Khan Khosa also announced to provide 17000 uniforms for the students of Subhat Pur including allocating 45 million rupees for the schools infrastructure.
Izhar Khan Khosa assured his full support to education department for financial assistance and provision of missing facilities in schools.
Izhar Khan Khosa appreciated engagement of Parents to PTSMC for the sake of their children education.
DEO Zia Rehman appreciated Alif Ailaan for organizing convention mobilizing parents through PTSMC in district Subhat Pur.
Deputy Commissioner Subhat Pur Agha Sheer Zaman emphasized on the importance of education in current competitive world adding that.
He said, “Education is not just about getting a degree or a piece of paper, education is about respect, dignity and self-confidence.”
Deputy Commissioner highlighted the serious issue regarding single teacher and single class room as more than 53% primary schools with single teacher and 36% primary schools with single class room.
Deputy Commissioner assured to try his level best to get funds from Chief Minister Balochistan for the rehabilitation of following schools.
