Opening ceremony of Balochistan Polo Tournament held

Quetta: Opening ceremony of Balochistan Polo Tournament was held at Polo and Saddle Club Quetta Cantt today. Major General Muhammad Asim Malik was the chief guest on the occasion.

He threw the ball into the Polo field to formally kick off the tournament. The opening match was played between the teams of Mona Depot and Bhawalpur. The players of Mona Depot displayed scintillating skills and won the match comfortably by 7 goals to 2. Flag Past, band display, show jumps and tent pegging competition were the highlights of event.

A total of 6 teams are participating in six days mega event which is played on league basis. Closing ceremony of the tournament will be held on 12 September 2018. Senior civil and military officials and large gathering of game lovers attended the opening ceremony.
