Quetta. A complete shutter down was observed throughout Balochistan on the Independence Day of Pakistan.
Baloch Warna Movement (BWM) and other Baloch nationalist organizations had given the call for shutter down on 14th August, the independence day of Pakistan,
According to the details a complete shut off was observed in Mastung ,Kalat, Khuzdar, Kharan, Naal, Wadh, Besema, Noshki, Dalbandain, Panjgoor, Gawadar, Pasni, Jewani, Turbat, Buleda, Hoshap,Tump, Nasir Abad, Balicha, Zamuran, Hub and Sibi, including the small cities of Balochistan. The traffic remained low on the roads in most cities.
“The black day was observed throughout Balochistan on 14th of August in most cities of Balochistan.” Said the Spokesperson of BWM. “A complete shutter down was observed and the traffic remained low on the high way as well as on major roads of Balochistan on occasion of Independence Day.” he added.
Strict security arrangements were made by law enforcement agencies to avoid any unpleasant incident.
