We will not be a part of protest Movement of Imran Khan and Tahir ul Qadri – Akhtar Mengal

Quetta: Chief of Balochistan National Party and former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, said that Balochistan is not in the agenda of both Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri; Therefore BNP will not be a part of the agitation movement planned by them.

Talking to Media in Hub, Akhtar Mengal said that Balochistan Government has broken all the records of corruption. The dumping of mutilated bodies continues unabated in Balochistan and the government is powerless in this regard, said Akhtar Mengal. He further said that government is just passing time and it has failed to bring any positive change during its tenure.

Sardar Akhtar Mengal also criticized the Gaddani Coal Fired power Project. He lamented that Punjab will get the electricity from this project and Balochistan will only get the air pollution.

According to some analysts, the party of Akhtar Mengal was the biggest victim of election riggings in Balochistan in last general elections. As a result his party only managed to win two seats in provincial assembly. Dr. Malik government has even blocked the development funds to MPAs of Balochistan National Party.
