Mekran includes Kech, Gwadar,Pasni and Ormara districts which are getting electricity from Iran. It requires 130 megawatts to cover all areas of Mekran division to supply electricity but unfortunately before it was getting only 70MW via shortage of electricity from Iran.
Now Iran is playing a vital role to increase supply of electricity to Mekran in a great deal, she is going to render 30MW more to Mekran division to a collection of 100 MW for covering Gwader’s one of the biggest project (CPEC) but it hurts to mention that there is not good management to supply it to all areas of Mekran due to mismanagement of WAPDA team.
According to an estimate the seaport in Gwader port requires 55 to 70 MW to run the in the year of 2017 to 2025 and ahead its requirements will be on the rise via utilizing of mammoth and heavy machineries.
Moreover, there is no doubt denying the fact that China Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) is one of the biggest projects of the world with the support of Chinese engineers to build it. China did this pact with Pakistan to stronger their relationship.
On the other hand, it gives pain to say that in 21st century we are deprived of electricity in a great quantity so as a result in Mekran businessmen, industries and as well as students are getting bundle of setbacks to study at night without light in the 21st century.
The industries are running their systems with assist of electric generator which is giving a direct loss on natural resources of country.
It is a big hurdle to be faced so I plea all authorities to sort out this huge setback.
